The problem
Students with disabilities end up sitting out, doing something different on the side, or being helped through every step. A few simple changes can bring them back into the same lesson.
01
Sitting out
The activity was not planned with them in mind.
02
A separate activity
The student is in the gym but not in the class.
03
Unsafe adaptations
Changes made on the spot, without a safety check.
04
Changing the goal by accident
An accommodation turns into a modification without anyone deciding it.
What you will learn
Each lesson has a short video, a deep dive, a real school case study and a quiz.
Accommodations vs. modifications
When you change how the student learns, and when you change what they learn.
